From August 11 to 17, Olivet Teen Mission (OTM) held a Summer Camp in Korea with nearly 180 attendees from various countries in Asia to experience the Lord in Bible Studies, prayer, and fellowship.
With the theme of “Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come,” teen participants reflected on the calling God has given them to reveal the light of Christ in this world.
This theme was visible through 6 Bible lectures with the themes of Creation, Sin, Salvation, and the Kingdom of God. Apart from this, attendees were able to listen to special lectures on “Wise use of media,” “Creation and Evolution,” “Prayer,” and “Relationships.” The aim was to help answer the burning questions of teens in this generation who are flooded with information online, yet are seeking truth.
There were also many chances for fellowship among the young brothers and sisters in Christ. There was an Athletics Competition, Bible Quiz, Recreation, and a day at a nearby amusement park. Teens were separated by Cell Groups so throughout the camp they were able to develop friendships from those locally and abroad.
A special Praise and Prayer Night was also held in which teen worshippers led participants into a joyful night of offering praise to the Lord.
