With Christmas approaching in one month, chapters are being reminded to seize this opportunity for to grow in a myriad of ways. As many hearts become opened in this special season, it is an opportune time for chapters to help teens to grow in faith. Chapters are urged to seize this chance as the world meditates on the humble birth of Jesus Christ.
It is a time to prepare actively for Christmas retreats. Whether chapters are holding their own retreats or uniting with the church retreats, it is a good time to invite teens. As Christians, we should be the shepherds with a big heart to reach and care for teens. We should be encouraged to actively find ways to invite teens to the retreat.
Christmas is a season when one can truly experience a turning point in one’s faith as we meditate upon the reason Jesus Christ came to this world. Teens are encouraged to set up renewed faith with short prayer and Bible reading to prepare one’s heart for Christmas Retreats. Teens are already participating in 40-Day walks. The Lord is faithful to see this heart and will surely pour down abundant grace as they set up their will to seek the Lord once again.
