Olivet Teen Mission (OTM) chapters celebrated the birth of Christ throughout the world. Most chapters joined local Olivet Church retreats and united together with adults to reflect on Christ’s birth. Meanwhile, India and Zambia held their own online Christmas retreats for the first time.
On December 23, OTM India retreat included worship, Bible studies, games, reflections and a time of prayer so that the teens could reflect on the Word deeply and grow closer to God. The message that was shared was about the Christ’s birth and meaning of Christmas.
On December 24, Olivet Teen Mission (OTM) Africa held its first Christmas retreat. Though some teens were disconnected and had connection difficulties, teens from South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia gathered together to meditate about the meaning of Christmas, the humble coming of Jesus.
OTM Mongolia and OTM Kenya joined their local Olivet church’s Christmas Retreat. OTM Kenya shared that teens mediated on three topics: Jesus’ birth, Jesus the Good Shepherd, and two stories of salvation.
More news is being awaited from other chapters especially in South America and Southeast Asia, expecting hopeful reports.
Praise God for guiding this year’s Christmas programs. OTM believes that the Lord surely helped raise OTM members, volunteers, and leaders through this time.
